Dr. Deborah A. Brown is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. She has practiced a full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery as well as an extensive practice in facial cosmetic surgery in the Bay Area since joining Bay Area Oral & Facial Surgery in 1996.
Dr. Brown received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, as well as, graduating with highest honors from the University Of Florida School Of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Brown received numerous honors including the Hinman Scholar Award and the Florida Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Academic Achievement in Oral Surgery in addition to her Dental Medicine Degree. In 1996, she completed her residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery including an internship in general surgery.
She received her Medical Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York while training at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, and the Genesee Hospital. Dr. Brown trained extensively in facial cosmetic surgery during her six year residency in Rochester and enjoys lecturing on a local and national level in the field of facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Brown is affiliated with Helen Ellis Hospital and is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, America Medical Association, American Association of Cosmetic Surgeons, Florida Association of Cosmetic Surgeons, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Society, Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, and the West Pasco Dental Society.
